Meet the Owners

 Ian was born in the Pacific Northwest.  He grew up on a dairy farm on the western outskirts of Lynden.  Hard work was something that his family always valued.  He graduated from Lynden High School, and after high school he joined the workforce in construction.  After a few years of working he also joined YWAM in Colorado Springs, it was there that he met Tyler and realized they had similar personalities and goals.  He returned from CO and began his career in residential home construction working for local custom builder.  Soon after that he realized he was not wired to work for someone else and he started VanRy Construction.  He did quite a few jobs on his own and then started working along side Tyler and together they moved through county building varies types of projects.  

Tyler was born and raised in the Northwest.  He graduated from Lynden Christian High School.  During high school he started working for a local custom home builder and after a few summers he realized that the grass probably wasn't greener on the other side of the fence.  He left Lynden to join YWAM in Colorado Springs after high school.  After 6 months of that he came home and continued working construction.  A few years after being back from YWAM starting his own company called Bajema Construction Inc.  As the journey continued he worked alongside Ian VanRy who had VanRy Construction and it became clear that they needed to join forces and start a new company that they could grow together and mutually benefit from.  Since then they have been Pacific Edge Builders for the 5 years.
